We would like to remind you that we are just a phone call away from providing you with a professional looking fence that you deserve.

The first part to any fence repair is the foundation that keeps your fence up straight.

  • Fence Posts - A solid fence post will help keep the fence upright and straight. If it is windy outside a strong wood post will prevent the fence from swaying in or out. The fence post standard depth depends on how tall the fence will be. For example, a 6 foot tall fence should be at a depth of 2 feet and the hole should be set with a mix of gravel and concrete rather than pure concrete since it needs to set before moving to the next step. Take in mind that the dirt should not cover the post too much above the ground to prevent termites and using treated lumber is always the best option.

  • Replace Fence Slats - One of the easier repairs a homeowner can do is replace fence panels or fence slats. The first step is to identify damaged slats that maybe warped or rotted out due to insects. Remove the damages slats carefully with a crowbar and a hammer be removing the nails. Use wood nails and work from top to bottom until all the panels have been replaced. Make sure that the supporting rail is strong enough to support the new panels.
